Services Offered

  • This service consists of me reviewing your unpublished manuscript draft to provide feedback on the overall structure, organization of ideas, the flow of information, technological accuracy, as well as line and copy edits. These will be provided via in-line comments in the document sent to me.

Timelines and Rates

  • The timeline for a project depends on a combination of a few factors, like word count or page length, type of service, and current commitments. While requesting. a service, please ensure you are transparent about the timeline in which you will require the service to be completed. Typically my turnaround is 10 days to 3 weeks depending on the size of the project.

  • Depending on the type of project, I will offer you either a per-hour or per-word rate. Both rate iterations depend on the type of service being solicited as well as the timeline in which you will require me to complete it. Across all services, my flat rate for a draft < 5000 words is $75. I try to operate on a sliding scale to the best of my ability, and am definitely open to negotiating prices on a case-by-case basis.

    1. Payment will be accepted via Paypal or direct bank transfers. For PayPal, a conversion fee will be added to the invoice based on the agreed-upon rate.

    2. Full payment is expected prior to the rendering of services.

    3. If you have financial difficulties and are unable to make the full payment at a time (due to being a student, unemployment, etc.), we can come up with a payment schedule (that will include specific deadlines) to better suit your needs. This is again negotiable and on a case-by-case basis.

    4. The service period will begin as soon as I receive payment (or the base rate or other agreed-upon amount).

    1. Both parties will sign a contract outlining the terms and conditions for the service provided.

    2. I am willing to sign formal non-disclosure agreements prior to the rendering of services, so long as they comply with my terms and conditions.

    3. All services will be invoiced prior to the start of the service period.

    4. I will not disclose any information regarding your manuscript to anyone other than pre-approved parties prior to publication. I reserve the right as a reader and reviewer to critique the text of the finished copy.

    5. If your manuscript requires me to consult with another person for a second opinion, such as a family member or other known persons with expertise related to the subject matter in your manuscript, I will only do so after obtaining explicit, written permission from you, and will not disclose your identity to them.

    6. My service for your manuscript does not automatically mean an endorsement of your work, a defense against criticism from other parties, or a guarantee that your work is free of any and all problematic content. You may not misuse my name in such contexts.

    7. If your manuscript is published, you may include my name (with no other identifying information) in the relevant section of your work.
